Banani AI, Founded by Ukrainians, Raises €850,000

Banani AI, a startup founded by Ukrainians Vlad Solomakha and Vova Parkhomchuk, has raised €850,000 in a pre-seed round. The company’s valuation has not been disclosed.

The investment came from European investment firms Specialist.vc and Inovo.vc. In October 2024, Banani AI also received €25,000 from the Seeds of Bravery program.

Often referred to as the «Canva for product design,» Banani AI uses artificial intelligence to simplify the creation of user interfaces. Users describe what they need, and the system helps generate a prototype. According to Solomakha, there’s no need to know how to code:

«So we’ve designed it so you can just click on elements and we’ll predict the next step in the user flow automatically. We don’t want users spending hours writing prompts. Banani should work in the background — understanding your users and your product priorities, and suggesting design ideas directly in tools like Slack.»

The platform primarily aims at small and medium-sized businesses lacking dedicated designers or product managers. It’s also popular among early-stage founders, especially solo entrepreneurs. While tools like Webflow and Bubble are commonly used, they often require more time or technical skills. Banani’s goal is to make the process as simple and fast as possible.

One common use case is quickly prototyping new ideas. Founders can rapidly visualize onboarding flows, main screens, and the overall user experience — saving weeks of development time.

Launched in 2024, Banani AI has over 14,000 monthly active users and nearly 350,000 generated designs.
