Tallinn Mechanism Opens an Office in Ukraine to Boost Cyber Resilience
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Tallinn Mechanism is opening its first project office in Ukraine.
- Launched in 2023 in response to Russia’s ongoing cyberattacks, the Tallinn Mechanism is a key platform for mobilizing support from 11 participating countries to strengthen Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure and cyber resilience.
- The Ukrainian office will coordinate directly with partner countries, manage international assistance, and support the work of the Mechanism’s Catalog — a tool designed to streamline collaboration between donors and Ukrainian organizations. It will also work closely with Ukrainian partners of the Tallinn Mechanism — the State Service for Special Communications, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity.
- According to the Ministry, dozens of initiatives are already underway in Ukraine under the Tallinn Mechanism. These include cybersecurity assessments, training programs, and the deployment of Starlink terminals.
