Ukrainian Headway Inc. Rebrands and Prepares for IPO
In April 2025, Ukrainian company Headway announced its rebranding, officially becoming Headway Inc., the company told Scroll.media. What is the reason for such a decision?

One of the main reasons behind the rebrand is to better reflect the scale and ambition of the company. For years, Headway has grown far beyond a single app — it has become an ecosystem of products. Today, five Headway Inc. products have been downloaded more than 150 million times across 170+ countries.
- The company’s journey began in 2019, when a small team of three launched the original Headway app — offering 15-minute text and audio summaries of nonfiction books, along with daily insights and gamified challenges.
- In 2021, Headway merged with Impulse, a brain-training app designed to boost memory, attention, and logical thinking through short games and self-discovery tests.
- In February 2022, the company launched Nibble, an EdTech app with short interactive lessons.
- In December 2023, came AddMile, a personal and professional development coaching platform focused on helping users improve various areas of their lives.
- In 2024, Headway Inc. introduced its fifth product — Skillsta, an app designed to enhance social skills through interactive lessons based on real-life situations.

The new name — Headway Inc. — emphasizes the company’s mission to incorporate knowledge, tools, products, and people under one unified goal: to help people grow.
«The name change is a response to the scale we’ve achieved in six years,» said Anton Pavlovsky, founder and CEO of Headway Inc. «It helps clarify our position and brand, both for our team and users worldwide. We believe it will strengthen our recognition, partnerships, and the trust placed in us as a company.»
The updated logo features a dynamic, broken line — symbolizing growth that is not always linear but always forward. Its sharp angles and peaks reflect movement, adaptability, failure, and success. The icon, formed by the first two letters — «hi» — signals openness, accessibility, and a people-first approach.
The road to IPO
Headway Inc. also confirmed that going public is one of its most likely next steps.
«For companies preparing to enter public markets, the brand becomes part of the infrastructure. It must be globally recognizable and inspire trust — both among users and investors,» the company noted.
Since its founding, Headway’s team has grown more than 100-fold. Today, the company employs over 400 specialists in offices in Madrid, Kyiv, Warsaw, and Nicosia, as well as in a development hub in Lviv.
In 2025, the company plans to grow its team by 40% and launch several new global products.
Currently, Headway Inc. is hiring for over 40 positions, seeking remote-first specialists with the flexibility to visit its offices. All open roles are listed on the company’s website.
