Ukraine’s TechMagic Acquires Polish Hitteps — and Is Ready for More Deals
Ukrainian tech company TechMagic has informed Scroll.media of its latest acquisition: Polish salesforce company Hitteps. As a certified Salesforce Partner, Hitteps will expand TechMagic’s expertise in the fast-growing Salesforce ecosystem.
«We have engineering experience, and our new Polish colleagues have consulting experience. For us, this is an expansion of opportunities for cooperation with current and future customers,» explains Andrii Kuzmych, co-founder and CTO at TechMagic. The deal has been facilitated by the M&A office of the Lviv IT Cluster.

Scroll.media met with the TechMagic team — Oleg Dats (co-founder and CEO), Andrii Kuzmych (co-founder and CTO), and Lidiya Dats (co-founder and Head of HR) — to get the inside story and learn about their plans.
Why the acquisition happened
Salesforce is one of the fastest-growing verticals globally and is TechMagic’s strategic focus. The company already has a strong engineering team working in this space but lacks in-house consulting expertise. That’s where the acquisition comes in.
Why go the M&A route rather than build the consulting capacity in-house? «The reason is the same as Salesforce itself — it’s a narrow talent pool. It takes a long time and a lot of money to find and hire specialists,» explains Lidiya Dats. Rather than lose momentum, TechMagic decided to pursue an acquisition — a familiar path.
This marks TechMagic’s second M&A deal. In 2022, the company acquired Kyiv-based Dynamo Development to strengthen its foothold in the US market.
Initially, TechMagic hoped to acquire a company in the UK — a massive and strategic market. A local partner would provide fast access to clients, local credibility, and a base of operations in a favorable time zone with no language barrier.
«An acquisition always requires mutual readiness. We haven’t yet found the right fit in the UK — the right scale and conditions just haven’t aligned,» explains Andrii Kuzmych. «Instead, thanks to the support of the Lviv IT Cluster M&A office, we found a promising opportunity in Poland.»
The office moved quickly: Hitteps was identified, and the deal was signed within a month, which was remarkably fast by industry standards. A Ukrainian tech company acquiring and integrating a European firm is still rare, making this move stand out in the region.
The deal amount remains undisclosed.
From local player to international reach
TechMagic has clients worldwide — primarily in the US and UK — but the team still identifies as a local Ukrainian company. To grow, international expansion is essential, not just in terms of customers but also talent and operations.
«We see that personal presence matters to clients. And for us, building a global business means being physically present in multiple regions,» adds Oleg Dats.
The company already has salespeople in the US, a few team members in Brazil, and around 50 employees working outside Ukraine. About 350 employees are based in Ukraine, bringing the global team to roughly 400 people. M&A will continue to play a key role in scaling further.
The former Hitteps teams in Warsaw and Krakow will focus on serving local clients, with the Polish unit operating as a separate delivery hub. The local leader will remain in place and continue in their role.
What’s next?
Despite no immediate acquisition news, TechMagic’s ambitions in the UK remain intact. The team is actively scouting opportunities across several regions, with priority geographies including:
- USA, specifically Texas and New York
- United Kingdom
- Germany
«These are large, wealthy domestic markets where we can find clients, scale, and deepen our international footprint,» the co-founders say. That global expansion is TechMagic’s core focus for the coming years.
